Restaurant Buchholz in Frankfurt

We ordered food today and picked it up. The portions were very large and the food tasted very good. The beef liver and half the duck were fried to the point.

Fortunately, we had dinner in this nondescript restaurant before the second lockdown. Me and my companion each ate a schnitzel with paprika sauce and mushroom sauce. The schnitzel was very tender and tasted delicious, just like the homemade spaetzle. The service was also very attentive and friendly. In addition, the portions are very large, so we decided to share a Kaiserschmarrn. This was the best Kaiserschmarrn in a long time! We will be back definitely

I ordered three schnitzel - with green sauce, paprika sauce and mushroom sauce. At best the meat was okay, a crispy breading was missing. This was more in the direction of "staying on the side too long and correspondingly soft". Paprika and mushroom sauce tasted like it had been mixed with fix, the green sauce was okay. For a price of 11.50 euros each, it's just okay. I would not order here again.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Frankfurt. The restaurant is cozy and you feel very comfortable. The service is very accommodating and quick. The food is really delicious. The price-performance ratio is top! The schnitzel is the best I've ever eaten in my life, really true art. Everyone who doesn't go there misses something!

For me and my weekly regulars table, the Buchholz is an absolutely secure and indispensable mortgage in the Frankfurt restaurant jungle. Whether it's schnitzel variations, meatloaf, veal liver or the otherwise hardly available Königsberger meatballs - everything is prepared in the best home-style way. The service is always friendly and attentive. The prices absolutely fair. For dessert, a piece of the homemade cake and then happy on the way home!

Small corner restaurant with good plain food at fair prices. The premises and the toilet were very clean. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere in Frankfurt. The food was fresh, tasted good, authentic and plentiful. Good friendly service, we liked it very much! We would love to come back sometime when we are in town! Greetings - keep it up!

Super delicious veal schnitzel at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and we were served quickly. Our food was freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The rustic ambience invites you to linger. I would like to come again.
